Deposits & funding

How do I deposit money into my account?
Open your Wallet and use the Seerbit payment link, or make a bank transfer to the co-operative account. After paying, record the deposit with its payment reference so the admin can confirm it and credit your balance.
How long does a deposit take to reflect?
A recorded deposit shows as Pending and is confirmed by the admin, usually within 24 hours. Once approved it is added to your available balance and appears in your dashboard and statements.
What is the minimum deposit?
The minimum deposit is set by the co-operative. Any amount above the minimum is welcome and counts towards your savings.

Withdrawals

How do I request a withdrawal?
From your Wallet, open the Withdraw tab and enter the amount plus your bank name, account name and account number. The request stays Pending until the admin approves and pays it to your bank.
Can I withdraw more than my balance?
No. You can withdraw up to your available balance, which is your approved savings plus interest less approved withdrawals. Requests above the available balance are declined.

Share capital

What is share capital?
Share capital is your ownership stake in the co-operative, measured in share units. When you purchase shares and the admin confirms your payment, the units are credited to your record.
How do I buy more shares?
Open your Shares page and use the Purchase shares button. Enter the amount you wish to invest; the request remains Pending until the admin confirms payment and credits your units.
Can I sell my shares?
Share transfers are handled by the admin. Contact the support team with your request and the admin will advise on the process and any applicable rules.

Dividends

When are dividends paid?
Dividends are declared by the admin, usually after the Annual General Meeting, and credited to members based on the share units they hold. New declarations are posted on the Notices page.
How is my dividend calculated?
Your dividend is based on the number of approved share units you hold on the declaration date, multiplied by the declared rate per unit.

Loan eligibility

Who can apply for a loan?
Active members with a record of approved savings and no overdue repayments. Your current borrowing capacity is shown at the top of the Loans page.
How much can I borrow?
Typically up to a multiple of your savings (the co-operative currently sets this to 2x by default), and within the minimum and maximum for the loan product you choose.
How long does approval take?
Applications are reviewed by the admin, often within a few working days. You can follow the status of every application on the Loans page.

Repayment terms

How are loans repaid?
Loans are repaid in equal monthly instalments over the product tenure, at the product monthly interest rate. Your full schedule is shown on the Loans page for each approved loan.
How do I know when an instalment is due?
Each instalment has a due date on your repayment schedule, and we email a reminder a few days before each unpaid instalment is due.
What happens if I miss an instalment?
An instalment is marked Paid only when the admin records it. If you expect to be late, contact the support team early so the admin can advise you.

KYC & identification

What documents do I need?
A government-issued ID (National ID card / NIN, International Passport, Driver License or Voter Card) plus a recent passport photograph, submitted from your Profile page.
Why are my profile details locked?
For your security, personal details and documents lock after the first submission. To change them, raise a change request from your Profile page and the admin will review it.
What if the admin needs a different document?
If the admin requests a revision, a notice appears on your Profile page and the upload fields are unlocked so you can submit the corrected document.
